Wing foil wing size chart by rider weight and wind

Wing foil wing size chart by rider weight and wind
Quick answer

As a guideline, a 75 kg rider uses roughly a 5 m wing at 12–18 knots, a 4 m at 18–25 knots and a 3 m above 25 knots. Add about 1 m for riders over 90 kg and subtract about 1 m for riders under 60 kg. Beginners benefit from slightly larger wings and large foils.

Building a retail range

A focused range of 3 m, 4 m, 5 m and 6 m covers most customers. Rental schools often add 2.5 m for kids and light riders. Offer wings in a consistent design across sizes so the range looks coherent online.
